As a weekly volunteer with Gainesville, Florida non-profit The Home Van Pet Care Project, Trey re-bags dog and cat food from larger bags into four-pound zip-lock containers every Wednesday and loads the delivery van for stops in Downtown Gainesville and at Alachua County's one-stop homeless facility, Grace Marketplace.
However, it's her recent trip to The Humane Society of North Central Florida to help a friend adopt a new house cat that truly highlights the 'all creatures great and small' side of this top-notch real estate professional. During her recent visit Trey saw a volunteer walking a 12 year old beagle named Droopy, a recent surrender to their northwest 6th Street location, and quickly found herself filling out an application to bring Droopy home to join her Archer, Florida homestead which was already home to her coon hound Lulu, a mixed breed named Rosie, three cats - Tubby Tabby, Taco and Beans - and a couple of free-range chickens. It's this inclusive and heart-centered approach to life that informs all aspects of Trey's career in real estate and her generous, indomitable spirit that make her work with home buyers and sellers so successful.
