You might say that real estate and her passion for design and aesthetic of homes is in her DNA. Her desire to join the real estate industry and love for homes started at a young age as her father was a professor of architecture at the University of Florida. She was also deeply influenced by her mother who was a skilled artist and a core influence on Skye’s love of form and function.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Skye had an award-winning, 20+ year career as an artist and graphic designer for some of the world’s most trusted brands including Mayo Clinic, Ann Taylor, Billabong, the University of Florida and Infinite Energy. She even was a skilled make-up artist working with A-list celebrities like Patricia Roberts, Jessica Biel and Peter Fonda. After spending more than a decade in larger markets like Tampa, New York City and Jacksonville, she decided it was time to set roots in a community that puts family first and return to her hometown of Gainesville.

Skye is the perfect community ambassador and advocates for its strong community values, lively arts and music scene and A-graded school system. She is also a passionate life-long Gator fan and alumna. Skye obtained her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from the University of Florida. In her spare time, Skye enjoys boating, exercising, and spending time with her husband John, who is a tenured professor for the university’s School of Architecture, their two daughters and family dog, Cindy Lou.
