Celebration Pointe A pedestrian-centric town-within-a-town

Welcome to Celebration Pointe! This fast-growing town-within-a-town features a million square feet of retail, restaurants, and green space. But it’s not just a shopping and dining destination. Celebration Pointe is also a place to call home.

This pedestrian-centric mixed-use community is anchored by an open-air plaza ringed by shops, restaurants, fitness centers, a movie theater, paved walkways and green space, including a dog park. Not to be outdone by Town of Tioga or Haile Village, Celebration Pointe even hosts its own farmer’s market and outdoor concert series.

The neighborhood features a few distinct residential districts, including the Vue at Celebration Pointe – a collection of urban-inspired townhomes. What we love about Celebration Pointe is its unique combination of urban conveniences and suburban tranquility. The main plaza is walkable, the vibe is laid back — residents of age may walk around and enjoy adult beverages — and the density of apartment buildings is balanced by ample open green space.

Where is Celebration Pointe?

Celebration Pointe is located just west of I-75 in Southwest Gainesville, roughly equidistant from Lake Alice on UF’s flagship downtown campus and Haile Village. The mixed-use development is bound by I-75 to the east and Split Rock Conservation Area to the west.

Celebration Pointe is a short commute to the University of Florida, UF Health Shands, and cultural attractions like the Florida Museum of Natural History and Kanapaha Botanical Gardens.

What is currently being built at Celebration Pointe?

The Experiential Living community at Celebration Pointe will feature 180 townhomes built around a pool, bar, fitness center, dog park, and more. Built-in community and walkability are the big draws here. The homes are being marketed toward active seniors with an expected completed date in 2024. Learn more here.

The Vue at Celebration Pointe

The Vue at Celebration Pointe was the first project to break ground in 2018. It brought 86 well-appointed urban townhomes to Gainesville’s Southwest side.
