If you’re a fan of cycling and fresh fruits and vegetables sold directly by local farmers, a trip to the Haile Village farmer’s market is totally doable by bike.

Oakmont Public School Zones

Oakmont is zoned for Chiles Elementary School, Terwiliger Elementary School, Kanapaha Middle School, and Buchholz High School, all of which rank well and are highly regarded in Gainesville.

Terwiliger Elementary, the first public school to be built in Gainesville in a decade, opened its doors to students in the fall of 2021, giving the residents of Oakmont and other nearby communities another elementary school option.
