1.Orange & Blue Game (April 13th)
The 2019 Orange & Blue Game, presented by Sunniland Corp, will be a fun-filled Saturday in Gainesville with multiple food options, music, tailgating and football.
2. Great Gainesville Car Show
The 3rd Annual Great Gainesville Car Show is coming back! Come out on April 13th from 9 am to 2 pm, and enjoy the sights of vintage and modern cars. There will be music, trophies and prizes. The event is free for spectators! To register your car there is a $20 fee and a $10 fee for motorcycles to be paid at the event. Registration will be from 9 am to 11 am. All proceeds benefit the Noah’s Endeavor foundation.
3. Don-Ba 1st Annual African Diaspora Dance & Drum Festival!
Don-Ba means “grand celebration” in the African language of Djoula, and this festival embodies the essence of unity, heritage, joy, and art that an authentic “Don Ba” would bring to a village or community.

4. Howl at The Moon Benefit at High Dive
In early October of 2018, Hurricane Michael devastated the panhandle of Florida. The Cat 4 storm destroyed housing, roads, and one very special place in Chipley, Florida. The Seacrest Wolf Preserve is a volunteer-run facility that breeds and rehabilitates wolves in order to place them back into the eco-systems of various state parks around the nation. This facility is home to three packs of gray wolves and one pack of arctic wolves. It also houses a small animal rehab center for skunks, possums, foxes, bats, and other local wildlife.
The benefit will feature Burlesque, Live Music, and Drinks at the High Dive.

5. North Central Florida Home and Garden Show
Presented by Florida Credit Union and The Gainesville Sun, the show will feature products and services related to home improvement, landscaping, remodeling, decorating and home sales. In addition to the many home and garden exhibits, the Home Show also includes informational seminars and how-to clinics.

6. We Are Neutral’s Earth Day Celebration at Depot Park
For the past ten years, We Are Neutral has helped local businesses and individuals understand, reduce, and offset their carbon footprints. By inspiring local citizens to achieve carbon neutrality, we have in turn reduced the carbon footprint of Gainesville as a whole.

7. Gainesville Rose Society 45th Annual Rose Show
“The Gainesville Rose Society is hosting their Annual Rose Show at the Tower Club at the Village, Gainesville. The show features roses exhibited by rose growers from the Deep South District of the American Rose Society. For all those cardio bunnies out there, Depot Park does a weekly Saturday morning 5k!
