Born and raised in Gainesville, Kristen traveled extensively in college as a photojournalist in Western Europe and Latin America. Kristen later taught English writing and reading in Puerto Rico and her unique experiences taught her the importance of communication, flexibility, human relations, time management and creativity in all aspects of life. As a marathoner and leukemia survivor, she learned how preparation is the key to completing your goals and understands how to find the possible in the impossible. Kristen is now active in this wonderful community and finds many reasons to love her beautiful, hometown of Gainesville, FL, the heart of the Gator Nation. Kristen married her soul mate in 2009 and is a proud mom to their son, Mason James.

Rebecca was born on a New Jersey Military base on a rainy April afternoon. At 2 years old her father was transferred from New Jersey to Florida, where the rest of her extended family lived. Throughout her childhood she was very involved in the community, her church, and softball. During high school she participated in concert band, marching band, the drama club, and various volunteer work. After attending college she moved to Gainesville and fell in love with the area. She decided to stay in Gainesville to become an active member of the community. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her three children — Eva, Thomas, and Sebastian
